Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started late as most Saturdays. First we spent some time in the yard with the furry friends. This is a must now to keep Kaia entertained without an actual walk. And Le Chat is always ready to join of course.
It's not always visible but she likes hanging out with us.
She even gets tender moments with Kaia.
But the main activity was a concert for once. I like this place, it's an outdoor venue, and also a tiny ski resort in winter.
I had never heard of the two opening bands: Sir Chloe and Weyes Blood. We only saw the very end of the first one, and the second one wasn't exactly my thing. But then Phoenix arrived. Of course, my favorite music is metal, but I enjoy many other kinds, and Phoenix energy on scene was really cool. Fun to see another French band here too, after Gojira a few weeks ago.
Beck was next to close the night. So many songs I knew but didn't know it was actually Beck.
The show was very good, except a couple of slow songs in the middle that kind of killed the mood. But they cranked it up again, and they also brought Phoenix back on stage for a song together. Very cool to see both bands on stage.
Even if it was maybe a bit crowded at the percussions!
Overall it was a great show, one of the last outdoor one this season. Step count for the day was terrible though, the first time in months (years?) below 10k. Oh well, it's okay, we had a really good time and that's what counts!
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
