Heute lief mein ganzer Tag darauf hinaus, dass ich Vorbereitungen fĆ¼r meinen Urlaub / helfen bei der Olivenernte vorbereitet habe. Also ich werde jetzt fĆ¼r eine Woche nach Griechenland fliegen und dabei der Vorbereitung fĆ¼r die Olivenernte halt helfen. Dementsprechend nicht ganz Urlaub. Ist natĆ¼rlich jetzt nicht so, dass ich da jetzt jeden Tag acht, neun Stunden ackern muss, sondern einfach pro Tag so zwei, drei Stunden. Einfach um da ein bisschen was zu unterstĆ¼tzen und den Rest der Zeit kann ich dann mich auf der Insel so gesehen ein bisschen frei bewegen. Das ist das erste Mal, dass ich zu der Jahreszeit in Griechenland bin und diesmal vor allem auch alleine. Das heiĆt meine Freundin bleibt zu Hause, nur ich fliege. Ist jetzt auch ein bisschen ungewohnt, aber dementsprechend heute ist echt nicht viel gelaufen. Wahnsinnig viel WƤsche gewaschen, noch ein bisschen aufgerƤumt und ansonsten lief heute echt nicht viel.

Today, my entire day revolved around preparing for my trip or, rather, helping with the olive harvest preparations. Iām flying to Greece for a week, where Iāll help with the olive harvest. So, itās not entirely a vacation. Itās not like Iāll be working eight or nine hours a dayājust two or three hours a day to lend a hand. The rest of the time, Iāll have some freedom to explore the island. This will be the first time Iām in Greece at this time of year, and itāll also be the first time Iām going alone. My girlfriend is staying home, so it feels a bit different. As for today, not much else happenedāI did a ton of laundry, cleaned up a bit, and thatās about it.
Wie sieht es mit den Kalorien aus?
Ja, dreimal darf man dann auch raten, was es dann heute zu essen gab. Wenn ich schon eine Woche weg bin, gab es natĆ¼rlich dann heute Dƶner. Selbst meiner Freundin wird es langsam ein bisschen zu viel und ich gebe ihr auch recht. Aber ich habe meine Stempelkarte jetzt voll. Das heiĆt, wenn ich wiederkomme, der erste Dƶner, den ich bekomme, der ist umsonst. Und hier haben unsere Dƶner-Bude aktuell so eine Stempelkartenaktion. Neun Dƶner kaufen, der zehnte ist dann umsonst. Hat sich also gelohnt.
What about the calories?
Iāll let you guess what I ate today. Since Iām leaving for a week, of course, I had dƶner again. Even my girlfriend is starting to get tired of it, and I agree with her. But Iāve filled up my stamp card now, which means that when I come back, the first dƶner I get will be free. Our local dƶner place has this stamp card promotion: buy nine dƶners, and the tenth one is free. So, it was worth it!
