RE: Orange corals beneath spruce trees, and sacrifice to vampire spirits of the forest .:. EN/RU

You had an awesome adventure, I must say. And allow me to say this: I envy your macro lens. 😅

How I wish I could also go on a three-day trip to explore nature in its raw form.

I think what you captured here is stunning. I have never seen anything like this before. The coral-shaped leaves of the white and neon orange fungi look like a species or creatures that do not belong to this world. In some of the photos, the neon orange fungi look like tiny hands growing out from the ground.

The challenges you faced during this expedition in finding these rare types of fungi are worth it. Those mosquito bites will heal in due time, while the photos you captured and the memories you collected are treasures you bring home with you. I look forward to your next adventure in finding these kinds of rare species of fungi.

Well, dont feel envy, actually I witness (a lot of times) captures done with a smartphone (with extra added cheap macro lens for smartphone, as expensive as just 30-50 USD - no comparison with oldschool glass monsters). The key thing for great result is the light, not the lens.
Well, just in case one day you will decide to venture into this DSLR sin - I use Sigma 150mm, it is far far better than Sigma 105mm, and it is significally cheaper then Canon EF 100mm L - which is considered to be the best in Canons lineup.

Those mosquito bites will heal in due time, while the photos you captured and the memories you collected are treasures you bring home with you.

Definitely! I feel exactly so, my sacrifice was not in vain :) Let me share !PIZZA and !BEER with you to celebrate this magical moment. ☘️ And - thanks a lot for all kind words, much appreciated! 🐈
