A paradise called Morrocoy National Park [Eng-Esp]

in Worldmappin4 months ago

Hello world travelers

The body needed salt, sun and water, so I went to Morrocoy National Park, located on the central coast of Venezuela, an oasis of natural beauty that is home to a great diversity of ecosystems, from mangroves and white sand beaches to lush tropical forests. Among its most precious treasures are Cayo Sombrero and Los Juanes, two paradisiacal destinations that will captivate you with their unparalleled charm.

I specifically took a boat to Cayo Sombrero, a 25-minute boat ride that took me to a small earthly paradise, which greeted me with a beach of fine white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters, ideal for swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing in the sun. Its coral reef, home to a variety of tropical and colorful fish, invites you to explore the wonders of the underwater world.

I confess that my skin is super sensitive to the sun, so I put on sunscreen about 5 times from 7:00 A.M. when I arrived until 2:00 P.M. when I left, but I really didn't want to get out of the water. It was wonderful to be able to see the fish swimming between my legs and even though I had already experienced it, it is always amazing to live it.

I had 2 dogfish empanadas for breakfast, very early, as it should be, and then I ran to the sea. Whenever I get to the beach I am like a little girl. As soon as I get there I get undressed, I do what I need to do and then I go to the water, I think that in the sea you can't waste time, it is always divine to be able to take advantage of every second in the water.

One of the most fun adventures I had in the sea was feeding the fish. I took some snacks like bananas to the beach and when I realized that there were a lot of fish, I ran to look for them, I broke them into small pieces and threw them into the sea, a lot of fish came and ate around me, that was wonderful.

At about 1:00 pm I was in Los Juanes, a set of three keys, which offers a party experience, rumba, friends, music and a shallow beach that allows you to relax in the water. I personally prefer Cayo Sombrero, but they are two different experiences and both are divine to live. Its beaches are clear, surrounded by tropical vegetation. They are perfect to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle and connect with nature.

Venezuela is undoubtedly a gift, that we still need to grow as a society, yes, that we have many flaws as citizens, also, none of that I deny and I dream of the day when maturity as a society arrives. However, something I will never deny and will always repeat is that "a country is made by its people" and besides the beautiful landscapes we have in Venezuela, which are a dream, Venezuelans still have a lot to give.
