Any people crave for clean and green environment devoid of environmental a d natural disasters. That wish was far away from a small state/nation called Khadija. Located at the foot of the highest mountain within their subregion, Khadija suffer varieties of natural disasters from time to time. The last that came washed away buildings and other standing structures.
Melvin, an environmentalist thought of how best to reduce the effect of strong winds on their environment. He came up with the clean and green initiative. A concept aimed at encouraging people to plant a tree at available places. By this, he believes that if trees are planted closely and more, it will serve as wind breakers and thereby preserving their environment.
Not only that, it will also add to the aesthetic beauty of their environment, providing shades to both man and animal alike. It will also enhance the full aeration of the environment.
As a way to galvanise the people to key into the project he formulated a slogan titled "plant a tree, save a life". This slogan became trendy and catchy at the same time. In a matter of weeks alot of trees had already been planted: ornamentals, shrubs, and the likes.
Few years later, the trees grew and became matured. Those bearing fruits started being productive, same with the ornamentals. The aesthetics of the Khadija environment became a talking point to other neighbouring states/nations with many planning annuals vacations in Khadija.
When the seasonal wind came, the trees, now numerous, served as wind breakers, reducing its effects on the environment. Few o them couldn't however withstand the force of the wind but in all the damage was very minimal compared to how it had been over the years.
The government became impressed with the works of Melvin, the plant a tree initiative; and to imortalise him, they named a boulivered after him.
