Kenny was recently transferred to one of the out stations of their company. His line of duty requires that he reports to work much earlier than usual. However, for two weeks now he has been reporting late at work.
The lateness isn't actually his fault. He usually wake up on time and prepare for work. However, the time it takes the commercial bus drivers to load and take off more than thirty minutes had gone. So it becomes a real race against time.
To improve on this, Kenny went and applied for a car loan. He got one actually but unfortunately he does not know how to drive. So he got enrolled in a driving school. For him to get a driver's license he needs to train for about three weeks and must sit for and pass both the written and driving exams.
Kenny was dedicated towards this. The third week came and he braced himself up for the exams. First was the written one. He smashed it. Then the driving test, he got a "B" which by their grading means failure. He had problems identifying and interpreting properly some road signs. The implication is that he will not be given a driver's license! He had to take the test again. And this time he must pass it, otherwise he will take the classes again and the tests altogether.
Kenny felt bad when the results came out. The implication of his failure are even multifaceted in nature. Accordingly, he cannot drive to work as he had planned it. The newly bought car will remain parked and unused till further notice. Kenny will be reporting late at work until such a time he gets his driving tests right coupled with the issuance of a driver's license.
He resolved that same day to brace up and face the driving test squarely with one mandate: PASS and never to falter again.
