The beginning of these posts was my My Life Just Hit a Brick Wall at High Velocity, on the Cusp of My 50th Birthday: Mid Life Crisis 101 post. I link that post because I want to give my readers some useful context for what I write in these posts.
Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚
It feels to me that there were so many diverse experiences today, that I don't really even know how to express them all here at the moment, so I'm not going to stress myself about trying. I'll talk about those parts of the day which I can easily describe.
My morning superfood fire coffee and Hive post was paused part way through today because I decided to head to town with Brittany to restock on some food and superfood coffee ingredients. She had to do quite a bit more shopping than I did (she was shopping for herself and her two kids), so our trip took a fair bit longer than I had hoped. I conmpleted and posted my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: The Immeasurable Value of Our Unique Gifts post while I was waiting in the car for Brittany to finish shopping. While we were in town I also made sure to pick up some new colored permanent sharpies, for the Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation posts, as the tips of the ones I have were getting a bit dull, which made writing clear letters not quite so easy.
When we got back to GaiaYoga, I finished my superfood fire coffee, caught up on Hive, strained a jar of kefir that had been fermenting for several days and added the kefir 'grains' to some new raw milk. Soon after finishing the kefir, Iolanthe (the daughter of the two founders of GaiaYoga, Ano and Melekai) and Miria (Brittany's daughter) both wanted me to go play in the pool with them. I told them that I had not done any work today, and that I wanted to get some done. They went with me to collect Melochia leaves to put at Zappa Crappa, the composting toilet next to the Landing. They did not make my task of collecting the leaves easy at all, even though they said they would 'help me'. I did finally collect all the leaves that I wanted, and deposited them at Zappa.
The two girls were adamant about going into the pool with them, so I said I'd go in for a short while. My 'short while' ended up being me launching them into the air, over and over again, for about an hour. Elohi, Io's older brother, appeared with his two friends. He wanted me to toss him into the air too, so for a bit I was launching all three kids. It's good exercise, I'll say that.
When I finally got out, I caught up on Hive again, then grabbed my already-sharpened Fijian machete, and cleared the trail going to the structure with the solar system, bedding storage, washing machine, shower room, and the firewood storage area. After finishing that area, I did the front planting bed near the Landing. My main desire in doing that area was to clear around various important plants that were covered by some weedy (though beautiful) species.
Melekai had mentioned making a fire tonight up at Flow House, for us to enjoy it, and so the kids, five in all, could toast marshmallows and hot dogs, and make smoors. Because of that, I collected a bunch of wood from the firewood storage area, then carried it up to the Flow House, and set myself to start making the fire. The kids were toasting marshmallows for quite a bit before Melekai arrived. She was pretty upset with them that they didn't wait for Ezra, the son of one of the other women staying here, to arrive before starting. It was a bit of a chaotic scene, so I just sat back in the comfy chair up in the Flow House, and watched the fire. Brittany came up a little bit later and toasted some marshmallows too, before everyone finally left go to Tutu, the main community building at GYG.
Once they all left, I got back to this post (that I put on hold for a while). I was more than half way done when Melekai came back up to relax and talk for a while. We shared a really amazing, very meaningful, and quite exciting inspirational, and motivational conversation over the course of the next hour. It was by far the most engaging conversation that I've ever had with Melekai. There is much potential future collaboration and mutual support here at GaiaYoga.
When Melekai finally said good night, I returned to writing this post for the second time. I very much feel that I came back to GaiaYoga for a reason, and that this is where I am supposed to be now. I'm healing and growing fast right now. There is so much beauty that my heart burns to create, birth, and ground here, and I have the absolute passion, determination, commitment, focus, and tenacity now to be able to say that I can and aill do this.
It's past 10:30PM now, so I'll end this post now. I didn't sleep well again last night again, so needless to say I'm exhausted. I wish you all a potently exquisite night. G'Night for now, and until tomorrow! 🙏💚⚡💥🔥👣🌱

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
