BE KIND TO OTHERS
We are not equal in possession, health and wealth etc. We have necessities in variations. Some are enjoying things in largesse while others in abject poverty. These inequalities or imbalances creates a need for equilibrium. Our proof of kindness is that need for perfect equality because it's humanly to help other.
Being kind means a lot. Kindness is heavenly and divine but humans can manifest this quality evidently to others. Think of any area of your life, where you have strength and in abundance, look around and see anyone in need of that. They are many! Can you share with them? It does not mean that you should give all out to others. No! A portion of it can make a powerful change on others and they will be happy too.
Money can solves a lot of material problems and can be given to others to change their lives. That's kindness. But, is it all that kindness is? No! A simple and costless gestures like opening of doors to others, giving our sit for another in a train/car when we can stand, gifting etc can makes a huge impact on others. A warm smile, a hug, simple discussion without judging and helping at kitchen etc can calm one down and make one happy. They are acts of kindness too.
Discriminating and Partial Kindness
If one's act of kindness is only for his friends, family member or tribe, can we conclude that he/she is kind to others? No! We should emulate God on that! His rain, sun, oxygen etc are for everyone. He is impartial and don't favor one above others. We should show our acts of kindness to everyone equally.
Blessings attached to kindness
Kindness comes with many benefits. One who is kind to others makes good name for him/herself. Having a good name and reputation brings an open doors of prosperity and God don't forget such acts and the person.
King David of ancient Israel spared the life of king Saul in the woods many times as the later seek to kill him at all cost. God remembered and make his name great by establishment his kingdom forever. One will enjoy great benefits because of his acts of kindness. I have heard success stories of the people whose forerunners are very kind to others. It pays hugely and should be taught to our children and unborn generations.
