It is very unpleasant, I tell you, I have just spent several days without internet, cable TV and electricity due to a fire that I survived...

But the good part is that you already have an appointment, and I hope that your service will be restored soon and you can move more freely.

The internet is essential nowadays! Cheer up, I know it's hard (more so, I'm having a horrible time this Christmas, but I'm still trying my best), but I know you're going to be happy!

Aw man I just saw @melinda010100 's post about the fire, I'm so sorry! What a thing to happen! I'm glad you're safe but such a difficulty. :( I hope your Christmas gets a whole lot better and insurance covers any damage. <3

Well, the vehicle owners didn't have insurance (insurance costs a fortune in this country, it's unpayable) and neither do we apartment owners. However, the person responsible for the accident is detained by law, but he also does not have the money to pay for all the damage caused, which is estimated to be more than $100k...

Oof. So sorry. :(

I didn't have renters insurance for most of the years but over a year ago they made it mandatory to rent here now, so it was essentially another rent increase on top of the actual rent increase. Thankfully the cost isn't too terrible but when you're struggling to pay bills every month every bit added on is hard!

$100k in damages, yowza.
