I am alive challenge for 11/03/22: Got our first rain in the year 2022

Hello,
I was really glad this evening when it was cloudy . I was just praying and hoping that it did rain because the heat was too much to bear that I need to off my clothes and moving around with singlet it was really hot that one has to go to the bathroom countless of time to take shower over and over again.

And finally it rain and I was an in an exuberant mood ever since because I believe there would be enough breeze and planting will start very soon.

I am glad to be alive and thanks to @ flaxz who bring up this initiative.

Thanks so much for your comment . Actually I have planted yam around January as the rain fell it will help it to germinate. Also I will be planting cassava and maize with potatoes.

Hey @femcy-willcy - This is lovely, the rain is such a blessing. Although I live in Europe and it rains far too much, I worked in north Africa for 6 years and my kids grew up there. They used to dance in the streets when the rain came. It is easy for us now to forget what a blessing it is and today you reminded me. Thanks for that!

It was really a joyful experience, if fact I literally went into the rain to cool off like children does.

The heat as been tense, excited the rain came, and I can set out into planting some crop.
