In my case, the family went out to eat on the street for some festive time.
Some meals were quite cheap in those times, today eating on the street is like a memory, I have to cook until I manage to make something that could be eaten.
I do believe that the hustle and bustle of work robs us of time that is needed for the family, but this is the reality in which we live. And we do the best we can with what we have.
Coming home after working all night or a double shift doesn't leave much motivation to dedicate yourself to cooking, and I greatly admire people who, despite everything, find the strength to do it.
Eating some fast food once in a while shouldn't hurt. In recent times we used to cook on the weekend, food for three or four days and when we got home from work, we only heated up what we would eat.
