It is possible to find it in north India but not in the south. I never saw them in South India. I think they like cold. Next time research and confirm them. What I got here they are very tasty. Nice photos

Oh wow, Just read your blog, you have made an amazing dish of them too. :P After reading this, I went out for a walk this evening intending to pluck those mushrooms and bring them home, but unfortunately, they were no longer there. :( But this info will be useful for the next time! :)
I am from North India and it is hotter here in summer than in the South, but the temperature also becomes much lower during monsoon and winter. These mushrooms have appeared here after 5-6 days of continuous rain when the temperature dropped from 50 to 27 degrees Celsius. Thank you for sharing this information about these mushrooms! 😊🙏

But be careful not to pick them when they are old. Here it is called matblekksopp and it will appear in October. mostly grows on plane grass. :)
