Hello Hivians. Happy new year to you all. This is my introductory post on Hive. I don't know how to begin but I will try and start from somewhere anyway.
I am Chiamaka by name, you can call me Amaka in short. I am from the South Eastern part of Nigeria. I had my primary and secondary school education in the southern part of Nigeria. I obtained my first degree in Mathematics from the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri, Imo State Nigeria.
Presently, I am an Educationist and I love to read extensively. I am inspired by the various works of the famous writer Williams Shakespeare. These works includes but not limited to Macbeth, Julius Ceaser, The Merchant of Venice, Othello, Twelfth Night, Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Romeo and Juliet. These works are indeed master pieces.
I am not also averse to our African writers. In fact, the great works of Chinua Achebe rings bell. His great master pieces like Things Fall Apart, No Longer At Ease, Arrow of God, The Trouble With Nigeria and There Was A Country are all dear to my heart. You could wish that none of the stories in those works should end.
Other works like The Concubine by Elechi Amadi, The god's Are Not to Blame by Wole Soyinka, Oil Man of Obange by John Munonye, Second Class Citizen by Buchi Emecheta, The African Child by Camara Laye, The Beautyful Ones Are Not Yet Born by Ayi Kwei Armah are also works that appeal to me. I read them over and over again. The story lines in those works are all well thought and keeps you preoccupied. You create your fantasy world and live therein, lol.
Now, to my crypto journey. I tried writing on steemit way back in 2018 but my stay there was temporary as I could not understand the full workings of the blockchain blogging site. I gave up after few blogging.
However, some weeks ago some of my friends like @ddn688 and @alovely088 drew my attention to a similar blockchain blogging site...HIVE. Today, I gave Hive a trial and I do hope that my stay here will be worthwhile and memorable as I now have guys that I can look up to for proper guidance when in need of same. That was precisely what I missed while in steemit. Hive will definitely be a different ball game.
I intend to show my writing skills now on Hive by turning out quality posts and engagement. I love travelling and sight seeing too. These will also form part of my writings here on Hive.
