Can I ask what kind of chronic illness you have? It took me a long time to accept that my body is not like everyone else’s, and even now, there are times when I break down and cry. That’s why, when I’m feeling low, I often write and pour everything out onto paper…it helps so much.
I share my stories with you all because I know there are many people out there searching for someone they can relate to. You know what I did once, based on advice from a friend? I went for a walk, and when no one was around, I screamed and cried. That helped me, too.
