How are you doing on this wonderful day?
Hive photography lovers, it is a pleasure to share with the community these exceptional photos.

I have to admit that I knew the location of the wall painting project in the city.

Cotonou a small city of over a million of people is boarder on the southern side with the Atlantic Ocean.
The Ocean side of the town is the cooler place to reside in this season of heat waves.

I spent part of my weekend walking around the beautiful apartments and discovering the new activities available to the public.

I found this place months ago. It was only recently that I have the time to explore specifically this long wall paint with the talented artists you know in the West part of Africa.

These painting share the culture dance on the wooden piece attached to the feet of the performers. It is not the circus, but a colorful gathering to celebrate life.

Amantes de la fotografía de Hive, es un placer compartir con la comunidad estas fotografías excepcionales.

Debo admitir que conocía la ubicación del proyecto de pintura mural en la ciudad.

Cotonú, una pequeña ciudad de más de un millón de habitantes, limita al sur con el Océano Atlántico.
El lado océano de la ciudad es el lugar más fresco para residir en esta temporada de olas de calor.

Pasé parte de mi fin de semana caminando por los hermosos apartamentos y descubriendo las nuevas actividades disponibles para el público.

Encontré este lugar hace meses. Sólo recientemente tuve tiempo de explorar específicamente esta larga pintura mural con los talentosos artistas que conoces en la parte occidental de África.

Estas pinturas comparten la cultura de la danza en la pieza de madera adherida a los pies de los artistas. No es el circo, sino una colorida reunión para celebrar la vida.

Hello, @oadissin. Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful paintings of the people dancing on sticks as they did in their cultures. The peoples of this area paint beautiful likenesses of the people when they danced on the sticks. I love learning about other cultures world wide and looking at the tradition passed down for generations. What is the name of the culture paintings on the wall? Cotonou people of West Africa? Greetings,
Thank you so much for your keen interest in the culture of the Western Kingdoms of the Sub-Saharan region on the continent.
Africa has culture of the people dancing on the sticks during special event in a kingdom such as royal birth, weeding, death or great success achievement.
Many tribes in the region has the same style of celebration, but with slight differences in the rhythms or the use of words to chant the glory of warriors from the past.
Cotonou city is on the path of rapid modernization, yet the traditional celebrations are the event that gathers all native and tourists.

Thank you so much @oadissin This is so wonderful that the Tribes of people hold on to their traditions that help them feel happy and connected to each other and not isolated like in modern civilization. Hanging on to the traditions is very important for the human soul. 😊Tourism is wonderful for the economy of the people. 😊
