Merry Christmas. Today we had our Christmas party at the elementary school (新湖國小). Our class is a special English class for low income students. So we do our best to make it fun.
The first activity was to play a game like Simon says for teaching the rules of the activity. Then we reviewed Christmas vocabulary and had then do a worksheet together. One side had words and pictures. The other side had a maze and I Spy.
Then we had a vocabulary game. We had adoe with pictures that we taught them. They roll the die. The i ring the bell and they have to find the matching picture and press a buzzer.
Then we read a book “No, David”- Christmas version. Then we had the do a DIY- in the picture above.
Then we had them hold their DIY and take pictures.
Finally we had a song and dance. Feliz Navidad.
As they left we them candies and small toys.
It gets hot in that Santa suit, but it’s worth it.
