That's how I am every day, always preparing her breakfast. Earlier, she wondered why it took me so long to come in. What she didn't know is that I was still fixing her breakfast to make it look nice.
Hahaha! I'm just going to give her fish, tomatoes, and rice for breakfast, but I thought of making it special. Instead of plain rice, I decided to cook fried rice because we're Asian, and we love fried rice. Hahaha! Just kidding.
So, I chopped garlic and onion, then fried an egg. After that, I mashed the egg in the frying pan because I was going to mix it with the rice. It's a shame I didn't use leftover rice, it's better to use leftover rice from the refrigerator for fried rice.
I seasoned the fried rice to make it tasty.
I also added slices of cucumber to her breakfast and made her hot chocolate.
When I brought in the breakfast, she smiled, realizing that the reason I took so long was that I made her ordinary breakfast extra special. Hahaha.
I gave her a naughty smile, implying that there was something in exchange for that breakfast. She laughed.
She finished everything I prepared.
Later, a notification popped up on my social media. She tagged me and thanked me for the breakfast. Or maybe she was just showing off to her social media friends who don't get breakfast prepared by their husbands. Hahaha! Just kidding!
Her simple post on social media, bragging that I made her a special breakfast, really brightened my morning. It's truly uplifting when our partners appreciate the things we do for them.
I'm happy that even after 6 years, I continue to be sweet to my wife. There's not a day that goes by without me expressing my love for her.
