Hi there, the AWESOME token is a tokenization of the Hive Power on @thisisawesome and as that Hive Power growths with the added leverage of incoming delegations the Token Value increases a lot faster than just flat curation APR.

We aim to keep 1/3 of the Backing Hive in our buy order on @awesomecuration, and that buy order is adjusted once per day to be pegged to Token Value for AWESOME, and that way the AWESOME token has a consistently increasing Token Value that is 100% backed by Hive.

As to use cases there are some Diesel Pools that have added AWESOME as part of their rewards, plus you also earn a small amount of AWESOME each day based on your staked ALIVEM miner tokens, and there might be more that I am not aware of.
