Primero quiero desearles que pasen una linda Semana Santa, ayer estuvimos yendo a la iglesia a celebrar el Domingo de Ramos y hoy fuimos un rato a la playa, ya que mis niñas querían ir y aunque fue solo un rato, porque el sol estaba muy fuente, lo disfrutamos.
Ahora si les cuento de mi primera falda básica, como ya les he contado antes, estoy un curso de corte y confección, nos enseñaron hacer el patrón a partir de nuestras medidas en clases y para la casa nos mandaron hacer un nuevo patrón a ver si captamos bien.
Yo le tomé las medidas a mi princesa @ariannamc para elaborarle la falda a ella, en clase fijé el patrón a la tela y corté. Con alfileres y luego pasando puntadas flojas, para armar la falda y ver si a Arianna le quedaba.
Luego le coloque el cierre como la profe me enseño y seguidamente le pase costura con la máquina en casa. Yo estaba contenta, estaba casi lista, pero no fue así, el cierre me quedó mal pegado y luego lo llevé a clase y tuve que descoserlo y prestar más atención para hacerlo bien.
Tuve que coserlo a mano, la conclusión era por el tipo de pretina, que es de las que solo se ve por dentro o pretina invisible, a me gusto este modelo, pues se ve más juvenil y algunos de los programas de jóvenes que ve Arianna la usan mucho, además se puede combinar con diferentes outfits.
La verdad que en la clase me sentía un poco frustrada, ya que por más que me explicaba no entendía como al quitar los alfileres iba a coser el cierre a máquina. Yo había visto unos videos en YouTube, se veía más fácil de como la profesora lo enseñaba.
Aparte la máquina, aunque esta nueve citas, me ha echado broma, o sea a veces se tranca por un hilo y se me hace difícil en el momento que la aguja debe agarrar el hilo de la porta bobinas, debo intentarlo muchas veces.
A pesar de todos los percances, cuando ya iba por la parte del ruedo, me sentí feliz de que ya estaba casi lista.
Y así me quedo la falda, bien linda por dentro y por fuera, ojo a mí me gusta, que no se le vean detalles, aunque como estoy aprendiendo con el uso de la máquina, los errores nunca faltan, pero mientras sean lo menos posible, mejor.
Yo pensaba que lista, ya todo había terminado, pero no. Le quedó un poco floja, quería que le quedara más a la cintura y por lo grande que le quedó, ahora será a la cadera que se la ponga.
Otra cosa, como le pase costura por el lado de las pinzas para sujetar la pretina, queda un poco como abombado, no sé si se logre ver en las fotos, que no quedaron muy bien, porque la modelo no quería fotos, con la falda así por debajo de la cintura, je, je, je, je, je.
Así que será para cuando le haga la camisa del conjunto que se las modele mejor. Este será otro desafío, quiero un modelo que es con hilo elástico, a ver como me queda, ya les estaré mostrando amigos.

My first basic skirt for Arianna

Now if I tell you about my first basic skirt, as I have told you before, I am in a sewing course, they taught us to make the pattern from our measurements in class and for the house they sent us to make a new pattern to see if we got it right.
I took my princess @ariannamc's measurements to make her skirt, in class I pinned the pattern to the fabric and cut. With pins and then using loose stitches, to assemble the skirt and see if it would fit Arianna.
Then I attached the zipper as the teacher taught me and then sewed it with the machine at home. I was happy, I was almost ready, but it was not so, the zipper was badly stuck and then I took it to class and I had to unpick it and pay more attention to make it right.
I had to sew it by hand, the conclusion was because of the type of waistband, which is only visible on the inside or invisible waistband, I liked this model, because it looks more youthful and some of the youth programs that Arianna watches use it a lot, plus it can be combined with different outfits.
The truth is that in the class I was a little frustrated, because no matter how much she explained to me I didn't understand how to remove the pins I was going to sew the zipper by machine. I had seen some videos on YouTube, it looked easier than how the teacher taught it.
Besides, the machine, although it has nine appointments, has been a joke, that is to say, sometimes it gets stuck by a thread and it is difficult for me when the needle has to grab the thread from the bobbin holder, I have to try many times.
In spite of all the mishaps, when I was already in the bobbin case, I was happy that I was almost ready.
And that's how I got the skirt, very nice inside and out, I like it, that no details are visible, although as I'm learning with the use of the machine, mistakes are never missing, but as long as they are as few as possible, the better.
I thought that ready, everything was finished, but no. It was a little loose. It was a little loose, I wanted it to fit more at the waist and because of how big it was, now it will be at the hip that she will wear it.
Another thing, as I sewed the seam on the side of the darts to hold the waistband, it's a bit bulging, I don't know if you can see it in the photos, which were not very good, because the model didn't want photos, with the skirt below the waist, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh, heh.
So it will be for when I make the shirt of the set that I will model them better. This will be another challenge, I want a model that is with elastic thread, let's see how it looks, I'll be showing you friends.
