Hello everyone,
Welcome to my blog, my name is Valblesza
how are you doing.
The new educational police in Nigeria, would be applied, Students underage in Nigeria from age 18 (years) are only allowed to apply to a University Education, from Next Year.
And would no longer be allowed to site for the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE, NECO; GCE). Said Nigeria Education Minister Tahir Mamma, after the Joint meeting held with the Joint Matriculation Board, JAMB.
The Senate president has approved the age bracket that Nigeria citizen most attain to be legible for University education in the country, all Secondary schools and seniors Colleges.
Education, they say, is the key. And the youths our the leaders of tomorrow. The issue of education holds important facts in the world, and it is relevant to be discussed and determined by the government of each country.
Meaning that whatever a country would be, is basically determined by the level of education given to their citizens.
A stench at night makes haste in the morning. Today, Nigeria's government and Education Minister, with the host of others, and the Joint Matriculation Boards, have passed a bill, which was approved by the Senate President, on the educational age of every Nigeria children.
I am not here to discuss politics, or our leaders, but to explore around what education would Nigeria's feature would like. In Nigeria, before you attend the tertiary Institution, you are expected to undergo a secondary school level, or a senior college.
People, were provided the opportunity of early education, but that would be in the past by Next Year. People struggle to go school leave school at an early age, to seek for a Job, at an early age, yet the Job are not there.
Everyone civil servant in Nigeria is expected to work for thirty years and retire back home. The question here is, depriving people and young intellectual citizens from acquiring early education going to move the country forward?
This holds to the fact that, Nigeria's government could still be having issues with poor people. It is a policy that would take the country no way meaningful. If this should check Star and remains so for the next 15 years, Nigeria would experience a serious brain in the country.
And would suffer the citizens of the adverse implications of this because it is a high level of setback in our educational system and the lives of Nigeria education. Has violated the law to right of education of every Nigeria children.
Most of these policies passed and wrongly approved by the Senate President are made and targeted on the ordinary citizens. I haven't seen the use, and there won't be any meaningful Ideas backing this new Law of education over every child in Nigeria.
But the education, precisely early education, is good, and many countries, today practicing it, like the United States and other developed nations are growing.
I doubt that the Nigerian government has plans for the feature. At first, just concluded hungry 10 day strike. Life expensive, parents are not working. And the ones working, the take home is being spent over nothing to count on, due to hardship.
We are not even developed, there is no entrepreneur workshop to keep these young people until they get to 18 years. If people are going to school earlier and yet, Nigeria remains the world's capital of poverty.
Many countries have advanced their education curriculum to meet with the globalized world. Argentina added Ethereum and blockchain Technology to high up their education curriculum, while Nigeria band early childhood education.
We would find life more difficult if the leaders of today don't make policies that would benefit the Nigerian of tomorrow. I thought that Nigeria's government and education system would take advantage of the new technology system and improve on our curriculum.
Many countries have introduced the study of Artificial Intelligence AI into their education curriculum, and we are making policy to band early child hold education.
I am afraid to say, but I don't think our leaders mean well for us. The age is not our problem. Found mismanagement is the issue of all these. Nigeria government doesn't face the fact, they only make policies that will destroy the common masses.
And this is not a recommendable move to making a better country.
