Sorry you have suffered this but unfortunately it is the reality of the world we live in sadly.
There are those that will take advantage of others emotionally and any other forms of manipulation they are able to apply to get what they want.
Surround yourself with like minded and protect your circle.
Not everyone is like that and it is important who you let in and who you don't.
