Almost rain... 😅 It started raining in the mid morning then stopped. Ugh! 😟 I do wonder if someone somewhere is making the rain stop falling here. 😒 No fun! My consolation is it's also intermittently cloudy throughout the day. Still too warm tonight, so my plan to turn on the cooling system from 9pm to 11:30pm will happen again. I just finished another episode of Poirot and it's a really good one too. 🤓

I could spot the hanging flowering plants from my work desk. Since these flowers wouldn't last long, I thought I'd immortalize them by taking their photos. Here's a shot from two angles taken using my work iPad. Too lovely! They made me smile all day. 😄 I seriously want more flowering plants in my mini garden.

I'm still staking ALIVE, staking ALIVE, ah ha ha ha! 😆 It's another 140 ALIVE tokens for the week. The great news is there were two post updates for ALIVE delegators from @flaxz. So glad to get some news somehow. I'm not going anywhere for now, since I'm still curating for @aliveandthriving daily. 😉

I need more good news IRL, that is. For now, I'm on survival mode -- just aiming to survive one day at a time. Inshallah! 🙏❤️💡

TAB - got exactly 900points from my minimum daily surf today 🙌

FAFY - I've got more than 1.2K reward points now so I just did the minimum activity for the challenge 😉

We had 3 days where it rained, one day I knew my daughter would be walking home so I got in my truck and tried to find her, 2 miles from my house, it poured rain, I was going 15mph and the water was coming over my hood, the road looked like a flooded river. I got home and we did not have much rain at our house. I did not find my daughter, she said she was under the bridge waiting for it to stop.

We have not turned our A/C on yet, last year when it was this hot we had a 400-dollar-light bill, we can not do that again.

Oh that's a scary experience. It floods in Manila too, but not where I live. Weather patterns worldwide have become erratic. I guess the Earth is going through some cycle. Predictions say we better be prepared. !LOL I do believe in that too.

Well, I've been cutting down on hours for the cooling system. I hope that helps while it helps me get a good night's sleep too. It's tough to function without good sleep so that's a priority. Still trying to find the right balance... 😉

I have not worked in several months if I had to work I would also turn on the air conditioner, like you are doing, for a few hours at night so I could sleep better.

I hope your weekend goes by slowly.
