Hey Hivers and happy new year!
First Power Up Day in 2023, seems the first one in 2022 was just yesterday! As I often do, I will start with some bragging:
- 26th HPUD participation in a row! Like I said last month, no plan to end the streak anytime soon
- 11 successful Hive Power Month in 2022. I'm still mad at myself for messing up in May when travelling and getting a bit confused with the timezones... But still proud of this achievement:
And like every month, we'll dive a bit into the details of my account, so we can review its growth and my goals going forward.
HIVE
Let's start with Hive as usual. Another very similar month. While keeping a little liquid Hive for next month, I was able to power up a little bit more than last month. With 16.666, the amount stays low of course, but considering most of my daily posts are 100% powered up (to qualify in PUM), this is not bad. On the other hand, with the relatively low Hive price, I converted most of my HBD and didn't have much left to push to savings. I did add 1.666, because I always want to add something every month, even a tiny amount.
The account growth is a little less linear than most month, but the trend stays pretty much the same. Starting the month at 3034HP, I finished at 3135HP. It's way above my 2.5HP daily increase target. I might need to think about increasing this target again, especially if the lower prices stay for a while.
And finally, adding today's Power Up, that is 3152HP, and increase of 118 for the month. Back in 3-digits territory, I like it! I guess I can pretty much repeat last month conclusion: steady increase, still above my targets. All good!
SPORTS
It wasn't as good with my SPORTS Power with another slight slow down of the growth. I guess everything is relative: with about 392k added to my stake, this ain't bad. And like I mentioned last month, my original goal was to reach 10M by year end, so with almost 11.5M, the objective is reached very easily.
Even with this slow down, the growth month after month still looks somewhat linear, and I am not worried at all.
ALIVE
You might notice I changed the order of the tokens in this report, the ALIVE token was bumped up one position. It is simply because the We Are Alive tribe and its #AliveAndThriving project is really dynamic and even though my account growth is slowing down a bit, I believe it is mostly because the rewards are now divided into more people. And the more, the better! I didn't reach my monthly target of 500AP added to my stake, but it's still looking good.
DUNK
On the other side of the spectrum, the dunksocial tribe. When the NBA new season started, it appeared as though it would bring back some activity, but I think it went dormant again. I'll keep my stake for now and we'll see later.
Targets
- I already increased recently my Hive target to 2.5HP daily increase, but it seems 3HP could be reachable. I will go after that in January. It will be challenging but let's try!
- That was already an objective last month, but I am hoping to resume my training, at least for running. That would also help my SPORTS account, so let's see if I can get back to 500k added to my stake monthly.
- I believe I have to revise my ALIVE target to 450 monthly. Definitely challenging, but reachable.
- DUNK goes back into dormant status, so no target for this month. Let's wait and see.
- No changes to the drip tokens (especially DHEDGE), I'll keep accumulating them slowly. It's for the long term, so no specific target yet, just accumulate...
- No changes also on the liquidity pools. I keep adding some of the tokens I don't use often to these pools. The APRs are high, so let's take advantage of it.
- Lastly, my stake in LOLZ is growing faster than I was hoping. That's obviously very good, as the dividends generated from it get better. I will check it in more details soon, with possibly some more precise targets.
And that is it for the first month in 2023! The trend once again stays the same: slow and steady! Hope all is going well for you, and once again happy new year!
