Hey Actifitters,
The plan yesterday was to take it easy and recover from the half marathon on Sunday. Of course, we didn't want to just stay lazy all day, so we had many breaks in the yard, still beautiful with the fall colors.
Kaia was in a particularly playful mood, I guess that means she wasn't too much in pain.
All that under the very judgy eye of Le Chat.
It was unseasonably hot (we actually reached 80F, about 27C), so we waited until later for our daily walk. As often, Le Chat wanted to join us.
But we went to the forest without her.
It's not easy to be sure, but I think there's more yellow in the foliage, and more leaves in the path under our feet. In most of Michigan, we are finally reaching peak fall colors indeed.
Since we weren't too active during the day, we added a bit of distance in the neighborhood.
Le Chat was impatient and joined us a few blocks before home.
And that was it for the day, slower activity to recover. The good news is I wasn't too sore from the race, although I did feel my legs when walking down the stairs. The second day after a big effort is always the worst for me, so let's see how it is.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
