Sometimes we learn it the hard way before we knowing the bitter truth of life, being good doesn't mean everybody will like you for who you are, your kindness is what make some people hate you.
You think if you are good to everybody, love them the way you love yourself and care for them with your whole heart they will reciprocate but the bitter truth is it doesn't cost them anything to turn their back on you whenever they want and there is nothing you can do about it, just to accept it and move forward with your life.
That is why when we are doing things we, shouldn't be expecting the person we are doing it for to return the same favor. Once we train our heart like that every disappointment won't affect us deeply.
