Joanne's young girl Pearl is about ten years old. In a fortnight she will be returning to school to complete the term. She lives in the boarding school. In preparation of her departure to school Joanne decided to take her to a mall to a few buy things, especially beverages.
On getting to the shopping mall, Joanne's girl also saw her classmates who came to buy things for theirs return to school. They exchanged pleasantries and went their ways. Joanne concentrated on the things she wanted to buy for her girl...beverages. However, Joanne's girl wanted more. Mummy I need this, mummy I need that. Joanne who had already budgeted before coming out became a bit confused as well as embarrassed. Her girl saw what other of her mates were buying and decided to also follow them.
As an adult, Joanne applied wisdom, paid for the ones she feels her girl needs most and literarily dragged her daughter along towards the exit door. If she had not done so she would have engaged in panic and impulsive buys which would have adversely affected her purse.
