After four years off the grid and one year working at an agency, I’m back to freelancing. I’m bringing my skills in social media marketing and photography with me, and I’m excited to get back to creating cool stuff, building brands, and working with awesome people. It’s been a wild ride, but now it’s time to do my own thing again.
Over the past few months, I’ve been reflecting on what makes me happy and how I want to spend my time. Honestly, I just want to work for myself again. Freelancing gives me the chance to focus on what excites me and work on projects that I really care about. I’m ready to jump back in.
About damn time
The last few years have taught me a lot. I’ve learned about myself, my skills, and what I enjoy doing. Working at an agency helped me sharpen my social media marketing, content creation, motion graphics, and photography skills. But it also reminded me how much I miss the freedom of freelancing – the ability to set my own schedule and control the creative process.
The last four years have been about stepping back, recharging, and figuring out what I want from life. I spent time working on personal projects, traveling, and reflecting. Now, I’m ready to bring all that back into freelancing. That’s where my heart is, and I’m excited to get back to it.
Social Media Retainers: Helping Brands Build Their Online Presence
Social media is always changing, and now with AI and automation becoming a bigger part of the game, brands need to keep a consistent, strong presence online. That’s where I come in. Back in 2016, I created the "Social Yearplan" to help brands build long-term relationships with their audiences. Back then, social media wasn’t as big for businesses as it is now. So, I’m offering social media retainers again to help businesses stay consistent, grow their online presence, and build a community.
I spent the past year working at an agency, managing multiple brands and developing strategies that drove engagement. Now, I’m ready to take those skills and use them to help businesses and communities grow on platforms like Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok – and bring them to Hive while I’m at it.
Reigniting My Photography & Videography Passion
On top of social media marketing, I’m getting back into photography. For years, I’ve shot everything from portraits to high-energy events. Photography has always been more than just a job for me – it’s an art form. It allows me to freeze time and capture emotions in ways words can’t. This year, I’m bringing my camera back into the spotlight. Whether it's brand shoots, portraits, or event coverage, I’m ready to create some amazing visuals again.
Why Freelance?
Freelancing has always been about freedom for me. The freedom to choose my projects, set my own schedule, and work with people who are as passionate about what they do as I am. No more rigid 9-to-5 or corporate structure. Just the joy of creating and building something from scratch.
It’s also about the people I get to work with. I’m excited to collaborate with businesses, brands, and individuals who are just as passionate about what they do. Freelancing gives me the chance to do that every day, and that’s what I’ve missed.

I’m pumped for what’s ahead. Whether I’m helping businesses grow through social media marketing or capturing special moments through the lens of my camera, I’m ready to dive back into the work I love and make some cool stuff along the way.
