Dream of this, wish for that

There is something that I found out very recently, and that is because I follow and am interested in the weather in the south of Spain. And it is that the winters there are not at all as pleasant as they should be. Yes, you know how many people from colder countries go there, at least for wintering, if not for permanent emigration, just like the birds, lol. But just recently I read that Spain is the only place where in the winter at home you feel like you're at the North Pole. Because buildings are designed to keep heat out. You know how hot it can get in the summer there (oh, I love that sun there☀️). But in winter... Many people, such like me, very easily fall into this delusion that you see, Spain is a warm country, so the winters there must be warm. I'm talking about the southern part, not the north. But it turns out that's not the case at all, and lo and behold, this information is now helping me survive the winter where I am. It's cold here, but it's familiar. And I know how one should or could handle the cold. The construction is not good, but at least there are heating appliances of all kinds and electricity is not as expensive as in Spain...
Am I done dreaming then? Or it's just a practical survival manual? That should always be handed to us at birth - dream of this, wish for that, save yourself this way or that... 🤔

Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.
