Power-ups are for sure one of the most important things, but there are many others that influence curation and author rewards, like price increases and decreases, to name just one. In this regard, not many Hive members are aware that the curation/author rewards paid out during high or higher Hive price periods (with the same amount of HP in stake) are actually smaller in the amount of HIVE. (In terms of its USD, EUR, or some other fiat currency value, they are more or less the same.)
Therefore, in March and April, when 3/4 of the time the Hive price was above $0.4 per 1 HIVE, we really had a hard time and performed numerous "acrobatics" just by trying to keep the monthly collected rewards at the February level. So, just succeeding in that, not to mention anything we managed to do above that, it's almost a pure miracle.

On the other hand, compared to some other curation projects available out there, whose monthly payouts for, i.e., 100 HP delegated, ranged between 0.600 and 0.900 HIVE at times when the Hive price was around $0.3 per 1 HIVE, last month (April 2024), for the same 100 HP delegated, the rewards dropped ranging between 0.511 and 0.665 HIVE, while for 100 HIVE (10 VOCUP tokens bought at the current price) our April payout was 1.270 HIVE. (Not to mention our early adopters, those who were buying VOCUP tokens at the price of 5 HIVE per token, as they received the same 1.270 HIVE for the initial 50 HIVE spent in purchasing 10 VOCUP tokens.)
So, we believe we are performing quite well and stable!
