Reevaluating Sol and Indara

So after more thought I think my opinion of certain characters is changing. A lot of people have been saying that Sol is like the ideal Jedi but the more I think about it the more I'm convinced he absolutely is not but Indara is.

Sol's intent (while kind in nature) was overwhelmingly selfish (Indara even calls him out over this). They make it clear that Sol wants an apprentice and he latches on to the idea of taking Osha as his apprentice before she is even tested. At first Indara was against contacting the coven before speaking with the council but she was easily convinced to do so when Sol said children might be in immediate danger. She then de-escalates the situation after confirming they weren't in immediate danger and reports back to the council.

Later when everything has happened, Sol's first thought is to confess to the council his actions and take whatever punishment they decide upon. Because again he's thinking about himself. It was Indara who lectures him about everything Osha has lost and tells him he is basically responsible for her now _even though _ Indara made it crystal clear she opposed the idea of Osha receiving Jedi training. Sol seems willing to die for the twins but he is driven by his guilt. Indara has no such guilt yet she accepted her death in order to save a random civilian.
