In the spirit of summer again.
Well, I won't get tired of alternating these topics until finally summer is lured and comes permanently, for all the time it should be sitting quietly on its ^ss and not going anywhere.
And as I think of summer, which is coming after all, I also think of the sea and of fish. I don't know why, but I only think about fish in the summer, as if only then can such dishes be eaten, as if only then is it appropriate or allowed, you know? Perhaps because fish products are traditionally expensive and perhaps because people would usually afford to eat them when on holiday. And when they are on vacation and don't want to think and worry about any worrying things, they wouldn't want to worry about the cost of those things either.
And so today, summoning the summer like a knight with a sword, I show these summer pictures, they are downright nautical because they were taken at the seaside and contain nautical things. Thornback ray and garfish. Super healthy and delicious seafood that... is it only available in summer? Um, I don't know anything about maritime affairs.

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
