The problem is that Oregon never really legalized the drugs they decriminalized. They left crooks that run the black markets in control of supply. If they had actually legalized it, and required pharmacies to provide it to adults OTC, the criminal gangs that give it to children to hook them, then have slaves dependent on them for their drugs, that adulterate cannabis, ecstasy, and meth with fentanyl to create addicts and don't care at all about accidental OD's that result, would have been out of a job.

Solving the crisis requires actual legalization and the provision of only clean supplies to adults, and not children. Since the CIA runs the black markets of the world, and are the premier mindfuckers extant, it didn't happen in Oregon, and it doesn't look like it will.
