Hurting nature

I took these pictures just to show what I consider to be vandalism. Some often take graffiti for such a thing, but in most cases it is just art, while when one starts digging into living flesh, it is already a crime, vandalism. I don't even know why I'm comparing these two things - graffiti and this vandalism. Perhaps because both are made by human hands, although in most cases one is provoked by creative inspiration and the other simply by stupidity.

Yes, sometimes I can be extreme in my statements about people hurting nature in one way or another. For example, I often see photos, especially in the hunting season, of acquaintances of mine standing proudly with a rifle in their hands next to all kinds of forest inhabitants, from those necessary for shooting, to superfluous ones. This gives me great grief. Yes, some wild animals should be regulated because they destroy human crops and are dangerous to humans. But to take pleasure in killing living things, to take pleasure in killing and to be proud of it, that is what hurts me.

Hive.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.
