Have you noticed how nature quiets down after rain. Especially if it rained in the evening and at night. When you wake up in the morning, everything looks different. It looks calm. Calmer than it was before the rain, before the storm.
Perhaps because of the contrast of states. At one point, it thunders and crashes, splashes water, hits the windows and all the surfaces of the house. You should turn off all electrical appliances, for greater security.
Then comes the other state - silence and peace.
Or is nature playing with us again: "Oh, what are you talking about? There was nothing yesterday. What happened yesterday, I didn't see anything", it will say and will look confused.
"But the soil is still wet", you'll say. "Oh human, I don't know what you're talking about", it'll politely answer that.
Like a teenager we caught breaking the rules, attending a party he wasn't supposed to attend.
Well, there is no point in questioning nature about anything. The result is clear.
And it's very calm after last night's storm.

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
