RE: Waking up for UFC: A monthly ritual that ensures bad Mondays

in #life8 days ago

I was into UFC in the early years, but I kind of got out of it these days. My wife can't stand it and that is probably part of it. I remember we were talking about going to an event when my brother in law had his bachelor party in Vegas, but we couldn't make it happen. The pay per views are so expensive these days, you almost can't afford to do it unless you have a group of people going in together for it.

If you are talking about actually attending an event Live you would have to mortgage the house to go. Those ticket prices are absolutely insane. I was once looking at going to a rare event they hosted in Singapore thinking that the prices would be more reasonable given the economic situation in SE Asia. Well, as it turns out Singapore is one of the richest (but still small) countries in the world and nosebleed section tickets were $300 US

That kind of doesn't surprise me. I think most of those venues are pretty small, so they probably raise the prices accordingly due to that fact.
