Just His hand moved and it appeared to have something in it held in the way a sleight-of-hand artist holds things. I place high probability it was a blood pack.

When someone suggested to me that perhaps Trump brought a device up to his ear to make it bleed (a technique used in WWE called "blading") I thought, woah. Did someone see something in his hand? Some sort of device or razor to cut his ear?

The cameras captured the inside of his palm as he reached up to his ear. His right hand is empty going up and empty going down. Also his fingers remain flat, to blade his ear enough to bleed significantly, he would have had to close his fingers and thumb over his ear on both sides, which he didn't have time to do while on stage.

I don't think He cut Himself. Given the bleeding - or rather lack thereof - after the "shot," I think He had a blood pack He smashed to His ear - and it was flesh colored. Stills make it very difficult to identify the way He seemed to be holding something in that sleight-of-hand way... Given the quantity of "blood" from the initial "impact," the fact that there was no further flow is highly suspicious.

If He had cut Himself, there would be a flow of blood for at least five minutes - at least! Likely 10 to 15 minutes, in that area. I clipped My ear once and oh My!!! Bled for a long while despite staunching and pressure.

I cannot believe that was a real injury. The data is consistent with a blood pack applied to the ear.
