I've gained another 100 Hive on road to my next Hive Power Goal of 7,500.
Why 7500K HP as a gaol?
Because with the way I do my delegation 7,500 HP is the amount of Hive Power I would need to reach the next goal in my curation group while still delegating 30% of my Hive to other groups within the Hive community.
And speaking of curation and the Hive community. I've found a new curation group I think would be great to support.
A while back I came across a post by @canje encouraging us on Hive to do weekly burn posts.
Based on users following rules in the post, you can even be curated and rewarded for doing so.
From my understanding of Hive, I feel like this is a good way for us smaller users to get involved in the health of the Hive token. We probably won't be able to burn enough Hive to make the Hive token deflationary but it is a good way to make a small but direct contribution to the community...
We just want to see Hive be great but with the way that Hive is set up, we don't seem to talk about burning Hive much as a way to contribute to the Hive token too often.
But maybe this group can change that!
I'd like to see the burning of Hive become such a big thing someday that we see a Hive Burn Day around the community, similar to how we do Hive Power Up Day.
And although this isn't the biggest metamask community, I think a Hive EVM that burned Hive as part of the fees would be pretty cool as well.
I'm just an end user throwing things a the wall, but if we can burn a little Hive here and burn a little Hive there, it could only help the health of the Hive token...
I'm definitely planning on doing my part by delegating to the curation account and joining the trail myself. I have a template created so I should be able to start getting some burn posts out pretty soon as well.
But let me know in the comments if you feel like burning Hive is something you'd be willing to do to contribute to the health of the Hive token...
