It a pleasure to share my own suggestions on what can be done in order to promote hive blockchain.
Hive is beautiful social media platform and I must say with the little time I have been here it nice being here. But the fact is hive is still not popular, a lot of people are yet to know about hive, some who have are no longer interested or will to stay due to one factor or the other. So since hive is primarily a social media platform before a place to earn here is my simple suggestion.

One of the suggestions that I wish it be implemented in supporting Hive is to design a mini game that makes individuals enjoy playing and at the end give them a code which will enable them redeem or unlock and have access to Hive tokens on the blockchain. This could appeal to a wider community who would not be interested in content creating or complex gaming like Splinterlands.
Having an easy and understandable game that can be started by anyone, more users will be interested in trying Hive and invested into it. The idea is that the game may be interesting and engaging, people will return to it and get rewarded that can be exchanged on blockchain.
This strategy could also work to attract new users to Hive more involved and engaged in the community. In this way, I think hive should offer an exciting and engaging way to start engaging through the platform other than content creation, Hive will be able to present it as a social media platform with additional features of a game, it may be effective to establish a mini-game different from the blockchain that is very easy and understandable, one a player engages the game and win they may be given a code to cime redeem their rewards on the blockchain, this rewards can be hive or any token, since many people might be interested in playing game and receiving some little rewards while having fun
