Hello and welcome to all my readers.
Firstly, belated christmas wishes to everyone.
Let's begin....
Gone are the days where you had to go to the market to buy your vegetables or monthly groceries. Now it's the age where you can order them online and get delivery in record time. A few clicks on the app and that's it. For convenience, there are so many options for payment too. And if you are old school you can still select cash on delivery. How convenient isn't it?
Online shopping has come a long way. It’s a booming business in India. Now-a-days you can buy almost anything on the internet.
I am not just talking about gadgets, utility items. You can now buy groceries too, and the best thing it is delivered at your doorstep in few minutes.
It doesn’t stop that, you can order food from your selected restaurant on a click of few buttons and the food is delivered at your doorstep. How convenient is that?
Their is no limitation on how much you can buy. In my household we do use the apps to order fruits, grains and masala etc. Even milk gets delivered in the mornings.
To name a few famous online stores and delivery apps. Flipkart, Amazon, Swiggy, Big basket, Zepto, JioMart etc. They compete to give better service and quick delivery.
Well, competition is healthy and more choices the better. All of them are free, but they do offer premium services at a monthly price, providing more discounts and offers to the customer.
The positive i see is you don’t have to go out to buy and delivery is quick. The downside, not all online stores are reliable and keep fresh products and may be close to expiry. But that doesn’t stop you from returning back the goods. Most online stores take it back without any fuss and money comes back to your account.
Convenience is the key here and most are willing to pay for quick delivery.
Competitive advertising also plays a very important role. It's a trigger for customers to buy from them. For example, Zepto has ads where a guy needs to shave, he orders the shaving items and it's delivered within 10 minutes and a convenient quick clean shave.
The overall experience has been good.
I did ask google about the growth of ecommerce. This is the reply :-)
❓ So my question to all the readers.
Do you do you shop online and use delivery apps and how do you rate your experience?
Do share your experiences in the comments below.
Thank you for reading my post.
Have a nice day.
