My Favorite Game. #iucontest week 9

in Indiaunitedlast month

Hello good friends and co-family @hive blockchain and the #indiaunited community. It's my pleasure to be a part of this week’s edition of #iucontest. The contest has been fun all along. I tend to fall in love with this contest easily. Maybe because it's one of those contests that makes us engage with real life issues. The prompt for this week is about your favorite game. This is the link

Games are interesting and fun. Though most of us as parents do not take pleasure in gaming. We spend most of our time planning the home and doing house chores. The children engage in different types of games. We even buy them the kits they use in their games. My son loves games a lot. He’s the one engaging most in games.

Talking about games, I was a runner in my secondary school days (maybe because I have long legs 😀.) I and some of my friends used to play running games. We would compete in races then. We ran the 100 meters race, the 200 meters race, the 400 meters race and so on. It was great fun. I was highly favored in athletics during college years. I was one of those who used to represent my house during inter-house sports competitions. Running was my favorite game back then.

These days, as I have grown and I’ve left school, I tend to not have much interest in track events anymore. This could be because I do not have the opportunity to further such interest. But for fun at home I do engage in indoor games.

The game I love playing with my family is ludo. Ludo is a board game available in Nigeria. We enjoy playing it alot. There are several other types of indoor games in my home. My husband bought us scrabble and chess. I do not know how to play chess. Scrabble is interesting though I don't play it often. There are also some card games in our home. We have Whot. Whot is another Nigeria game. These games are meant to make us interact together and have fun as a family. We usually play them after meal time in the evening. But then we don't do that all the time. To be very honest, I don't cherish playing games very often. I only engage in some of these games accessories we have in our home when I am less busy. Not as if playing the games is not good but when I come back from work, I usually engage in kitchen affairs, trying to make ready dinner. When that is done I usually feel tired for any game affairs.
