That is one heck series of unfortunate events! I'm glad that you got them fixed in the end.
Anyway, one thing I observed mechanics do here when changing tires, they use a long G.I. pipe that would serve as an extender to the tire wrench for extra leverage.

Well... I hope all those bad vibes will be left behind in 2024 and you will have a much prosperous 2025.

        Yes it hurts a bit more when unexpected expenses hit during the holidays. It was no problem to get the lugs off but rather the tire was stuck on the axle. It was like that sucker was super glued to it, haha.
