It’s pretty wild how different things are on some days versus others - so it’s important to appreciate starting the day off right - thanking to be alive. I worked with a guy when we would see him, asking how he is always elicited a response of “still vertical” meaning alive and standing instead of laying down dead. A good way to think about it I think!
