Hello everyone, I would like to write about a song that every time I listen to it, it lifts my spirits and gives me vitality and also when I am in the gym I feel more powerful and makes me lift more kilos than I should.
I'm referring to Eye Of The Tiger from the Rocky Saga (Silva likes to make sagas, it seems like he has a hard time giving up a direction) and if you didn't know, the third installment of Creed III is not directed by him but by the actor Michael himself B. Jordan, who seems to be starting to like making sequels and if you look at any scene, Rocky is not mentioned nor is there any photo...... So I wonder, WHAT HAPPENED TO ROCKY? Why that change?
Well, what we were talking about, I changed the subject very quickly. Well, I said that all the songs from the Rocky saga, the one I like the most is Eye Of The Tiger, which is a song by the hard rock group that belongs to the Survivor album, which sold 2 million copies plus where it appears in all the video games of musical type (come on, it was super profitable to make that song for that movie, I mean THEY WON BUT A LOT BUT A LOT BUT A LOT BUT A LOT BUT A LOT BUT A LOT BUT A LOT BUT A LOT BUT A LOT BUT A LOT $)
At first we thought calling it Eye of the Tiger was too obvious. The initial draft of the song was 'It is the eye of the tiger, it is the thrill of the fight, the spirit of our rival rises, and the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night.' It was all about survival, that's why we were going to call it "Survival." In the rhyme scheme, you can say that we had created 'rival' to rhyme with "Survival". At the end of the day, we said to ourselves, Are we crazy? That title is so strong, and 'rival' doesn't have to be a perfect rhyme with the word "tiger." We made the right decision and put "Eye of the Tiger" on it.
I often think that the movie was so successful is thanks to this song, that you hear it anywhere and it gives you an adrenaline rush that you don't see before.
Well, I'm not going to continue writing anymore because I fall short of saying everything that this song has been and will be for me and everyone. So without further ado, gentlemen, I leave you with my favorite song.
(By the way, I leave you the band's video and the promotional video and tell me which one you like the most)
