But before we dive into the details, I'd like to share with you some opinions and thoughts on recent musical happenings that are making waves in the music world. And in my personal case they have caught my attention. Without further ado, let's get started.

Dear friends, today I bring you the news of the new album by the band Travis. The first thing I want you to know is that this new work is titled L.A. Times. I can tell you right away that this title has hidden Easter eggs, which of course you will have to discover, especially when you listen to it. By the way, this is the tenth album by the British band and it was released just 2 days ago, I mean last July 12th. The band is known by all of us for always having a pop-rock style. I'm going to give you one of the hidden Easter eggs, this time this work is inspired by the city of Los Angeles, where vocalist Fran Healy has lived the last few years.

The production of this album was in charge of Tony Hoffer, who has worked with artists such as Beck and Phoenix. Healy composed the songs in his studio on the outskirts of Skid Row. According to Fran, this album is the most personal since The Man Who, in case you don't know, this album was released more than 20 years ago.

Now let's talk a little about the collaborations, the album includes some really cool ones, like Raze the Bar, where Brandon Flowers from The Killers and Chris Martin from Coldplay join in on the chorus. Songs like Gaslight and Bus also stand out. All this is combined with the fact that Travis is celebrating his 30 years in music with this release, which is why they have done these collaborations to make this work even more special. In my opinion, it's been very good, I liked it.

I can't finish my post without telling you something, the band has announced a world tour that will go through several countries in Latin America and Europe. In Spain, they will have performances in Barcelona and Madrid, which will surely be interesting for all those who live in those lands, so they can see them live.

With these new fans, I have more opportunities to earn more starbits. Everything I get I reinvest in the game. My longer-term goal, even above the 20k I mentioned before, is to reach 50k fans to unlock more missions and access sections of the islands that are still blocked by my level.

Now, my friends, it's time to move on to my usual shopping section to show you my latest purchases in our beloved game Rising Star. In this case, I bought 3 new cards that are the ones that have allowed me to surpass the goal of 13k of my own fans. The 3 cards are focused on increasing fans while balancing the skill points a bit. Well, without further ado, I'll show them to you.

The first card I bought is called R185 Barber Shop Quartet. This card, as you can see in the screenshot, belongs to the rare card category. I liked this one because it gives me a total of 175 fans per card. Something that helped me complete my goal of 13k fans. But besides this, it also offers me other features. Like 4 luck, 4 additional IM and 175 Skill. I like that it has almost the same amount of fans and skill, since I am protecting myself from ego by leveling up the 2 things a bit with each purchase. This way I avoid having to do so many lessons.

The price of this card is very interesting, as it only cost me about 12663 starbits. It is really cheap and offers good features. I would recommend buying it in bulk to get the most out of it. That is what I plan to do if the price remains the same. By the way, the personalized phrase on this card is: “There are four of them, four of them”(…).

The second card I bought just this morning is called 178 Campbell. This card, unlike the previous one that was rare, belongs to the common card category and belongs to the people section. To start, I'll tell you that it only gives me 1 thing: fans. In this case, it doesn't have IM, skill or luck, but as you probably know, this is normal for common cards. Well, the card gives me about 10 fans.

Now let’s look at the price it cost me. This one is obviously cheaper since I found it for 950 starbits in the market. We can conclude that the previous card is clearly more recommendable, since it has better features and is cheaper in the long run. But even so, this card is also recommendable, especially for buying in bulk. The phrase on this card is: “He’s not very good, but you can be the one to tell him.”

And now friends, let’s move on to the last card I bought today, which was the one that made the difference because of its price. I’m talking about 173 Fiona. This, like the previous one, is a common card, which offers me the same amount of fans. That is, 10. It cost me about 948 starbits, and that’s what makes it different from the others, it’s the cheapest one I bought in this post. I bought more than one of this specific card. The phrase on this card is: “She has a lot of power, just needs to be at the right pitch”.
