In fact I have also listened to a great part of her songs, that's why I was surprised when I heard at her house some new songs that I had never heard of her before.

When I looked them up it turned out that the singer had a new album out and I was, as always, living under a rock. Well one thing led to another and today I am writing about the new release which is even a bit of news to me. Well let's start by getting to the point because I know I get off topic easily. Haha. Well the new album she just released a few days ago is called Infinite Icon. The release is very recent as it was just this week. Now related to this there are several interesting things. In case you don't know she hasn't released a new album in like 19 years. It's just that when she released the first album I was little haha. It seems like yesterday but it was a long time ago.

If any of you were curious about what I was saying earlier about her not releasing music for a long time, I'll give you a little more context. If I remember correctly she has only released 2 albums since she started making music. The second one is the one I'm talking about today, but the first one was in early 2006 when she released her first album Paris, which I don't know if it honors its name or the city of Paris, the truth is that I wouldn't know what to tell you in that case haha. The truth is that it was a very good time for her with that release. Continuing with today's case I tell you that Infinite Icon brings 12 new songs.

I listened to the whole album and there is one thing that caught my attention. And it is that half of the songs are by herself, that is to say, as a soloist. But the other half, that is to say the other 6 songs are made with collaborations with a lot of hard, as is the case of Sia and Maria Becerram, among others. But these 2 are the ones that I currently follow. The truth is that the songs, all of them, have a lot of pop influences, but the one that existed or was made at the time of the first album of paris. Although if I heard correctly there is also a lot of electropop. I personally like this genre a lot and I have already mentioned it in several previous posts.

By the way I have noticed that all the songs are related in some way to convey the same message. In order not to make it too long I will summarize it in one word empower, but not for a specific group of people but for everyone. That is to say, for those who listen to it to feel more positive energy. At least that's how I see it. Before finishing the news section I would like to tell you which song I liked the most. I have no qualms in saying that it is my favorite of the whole album. Especially because in it Paris collaborated with Sia, another singer that I personally love her music. I am referring to Fame Won't Love You. Besides the treatment and the song and the music itself, which are very good, I also liked its message. This song is like Paris and Sia sitting down together and telling us Fame is cool, but it's not going to get you love. I love how it feels like a more conscious vibe, like Paris has lived through all that and now she's coming to tell us that fame isn't everything.

Yes because some people think that money and fame are the most important thing, so it's nice that the 2 singers who are already on the cusp of everything that can be achieved have ratified that and made some awareness about it.
