But because of life that never happened, she never knew. Maybe they didn't want her to know or maybe they wanted to avoid more suffering in the future.

The thing is that Linda had to live with it since she was a little girl and fight to overcome the damage it caused her. But fortunately for her it was not all darkness from the beginning. You see, the orphanage was humble, but she always had caregivers who treated her with great affection. Almost as if they were her own parents, which in essence is what they were. Although you know, it is true that she was never able to fill the void left by her parents, she was able to receive a lot of support from her friends at the orphanage. The truth is that her childhood was spent among laughter and games with other children who, like her, sought to fill the void of happiness among themselves.

You know Linda never allowed herself to be sad for too long, because she was always looking for ways to brighten her day. And she did it in a very particular way, helping others to cheer up too. She was happy to help others do something or bring a smile to their faces, for her that was a source of joy. Many of the other children followed her example and supported each other in that way. But you know, inside her there was something more special about making people happy. It was an ability she was about to discover that would change her life. You see, it was one afternoon, while she was helping to pick up toys from the children's playground, that she heard one of her caregivers singing a lullaby. She was very struck by the way her caregiver was singing, it was so perfect and she saw that it made the child she was singing the song to happy.

It is for that reason that at that moment she felt the desire to help others to rejoice in the same way. She didn't know it yet but this was the beginning of a never ending career. Before she finished picking up the toys that day she began to imitate the caregiver's singing. Everyone nearby was amazed at how beautifully she sang. In fact, even the caregiver told her that she sang better than she did. All those words made Linda very happy. And she decided that from that day on she would start using this new way of encouraging others. In fact, it didn't take her long to start exploiting her new ability. A few days later a music teacher began to give her singing lessons and taught her the basics of music. And with the preparation she was receiving, she improved her singing in a short time.

Once she learned to sing well her role within the orphanage changed a lot and for the better. For now she had become the orphanage's cheerleader herself. That's why her caregivers used her for singing activities to brighten up the day of other children. That way everyone won, because that way Linda felt fulfilled helping others and the others were helped by her music, because as some said, it helped them at least for a while to forget the emptiness they felt and also motivated them to forget their fears and follow her example.

Then over the years, that talent grew along with her. She was always ready to liven up events at the orphanage, from small parties to plays. The caregivers used to say that Linda was destined for something big, but you know inside all this bubble we could say she had no illusions. Because she knew that when she came of age, she would have to face a world that wasn't waiting for her with open arms. For when children who are not adopted, which was her case, come of age, they have to make their lives outside the orphanage. She never thought that would happen, but the day came faster than she imagined and the day came when she had to leave the orphanage to make a life for herself. Naturally, she could not be a child forever. So she had no choice but to do it.

The day before she left, they had a big party in her honor and she was the one who sang the farewell song. It was a sad day, but at the same time a day of positive expectations, because now she had the opportunity to create her own path and not let others do it for her. The truth is that life outside the orphanage was hard. At first she had to live in a small rented room with the little savings she had. She soon realized that she would need a stable job to survive, because she could not live that way for long, with the help she received from the state for being a child of her condition.

That's why it didn't take her long to start looking for a job, accepting whatever she could find, i.e. cleaning tables, sweeping floors, washing dishes or taking care of children in homes. But none of those jobs were permanent, only temporary, so she was in the same unknown as to whether she would find work the next day. But luck was not going to be so bad with her. So we can say it gave her a helping hand. One day by chance she saw a sign in a bar that said that they were looking for employees to clean the place every day and that the job could be permanent if the person asked for it. So, as you can imagine, he got the job right away. And that became her first steady job since leaving the orphanage. She worked here for many months cleaning everything in the bar.

The boss always complimented her because she did a very good job, she was fast and didn't waste a second. In fact, she covered the bar when the bartender couldn't come because he was sick. That's why she became highly valued in her job. And several times she got a raise for her performance. One night while working at the bar she noticed something strange in the atmosphere. The customers seemed distracted, some even got up to leave. There was an air of boredom, as the stereo had been broken and the place was silent. And that in a bar doesn't go down well.

It was for this reason that she saw an opportunity to use the skills she had learned at the orphanage. Without much thought, she put aside the mop, climbed up on one of the tables and began to sing. No one was expecting it so they were very surprised by her voice. In a matter of seconds the boredom was gone and everyone began to enjoy themselves while listening to her sing. People from outside also came in to see her and that day the bar was completely full, more than just to drink to see her. In the end she even got tips for her performance and a lot of applause. Many told her they wanted to see her do it again.

When it was all over, and the customers left, The bar owner, called her at the end of the night. “I didn't know we had a hidden gem here.” Why didn't you tell us before that you could sing so well? You know if you want you can become the entertainer of the place and leave the cleaning job to another employee. “I mean, if you want to.” She of course didn't say no. For she knew that this was her chance to exploit her best skill again. The change was not immediate, but little by little the bar began to fill up more and more. And just like the first time, people were no longer coming for the drinks, but to hear her sing. In fact, every night, Linda gave herself to the audience, and as in the orphanage, now she felt again that she was doing what she really loved.

It was on one of those nights when a man approached her after her performance. He was not just any customer, as he never missed any of her performances and every day he went to see her sing. But he had never approached her, until today, when everything changed. She noticed something in the way he was watching her and felt nervous. But he only asked her to give him the opportunity to sing together at the bar that night. He also told her not to worry about the bar owner's permission, since they were friends and he already had his permission. All that was left was for her to want to do it. The idea made her hesitate, since she didn't know why he wanted to sing with her. But in the end, because of his insistence and because she already knew him because he always went to see her, she accepted.

So they agreed. They chose a simple song to start with, because she wanted to help him sing something that would be easy for him. What she didn't know was that he was a famous singer, who had moved from another state in the country and came to live temporarily in town. But he didn't want to tell her, he just wanted to sing with her. When they started singing, their voices complemented each other very well and in a way that neither of them had ever experienced before. Linda was very surprised because she couldn't believe how well the song had turned out. Then she realized that she was not in front of an ordinary person. After everyone left, the man, whose name was Beto, told her the truth. He told her that he was a singer, that he was just passing through town. But that in the last few days of his stay at the motel in the bar, he had seen her sing every day. He also told her that he had never seen anyone else sing like she did.

Beto didn't beat around the bush with her. He told her that everything he had seen about her was enough to make him want her as his partner. He told her to look at the example of the song they had just sung, and how well they complemented each other. That's why if they teamed up, they could create something unique together, as they both loved music. She, as you can imagine, told him that everything was too rushed to give him an answer and asked for time. Beto told her that it was no problem for him, he wasn't planning to leave the motel for the time being. In the following days, both began to know each other better, the truth is that a sincere relationship was growing between them, especially because it was based in one part by their love for music, and in another by their mutual understanding of the difficulties they both had faced to get to where they were, because for life's sake he had also come out of an orphanage.

From then on, time flew by. She could see that he really loved her, and so she decided to marry him. But you know friends this was not the end of their story, it is rather the beginning of something bigger. They now decided to take their music to the world, but not for fame like others, they did it because they now felt the same thing, the desire to make others happy. In the end he ended up leaving his job at the bar, to join Beto on a tour. This tour was to go around the world and take his music to everyone. The truth is that now the story begins.
