I tell you this detail because the song was originally released by Angus and Julia and then later Alok and Koss reinvented it a bit, although a bit falls short, the correct word would be quite. It's that they changed the rhythm and the original genre that it had.

In fact, that is why I chose their version and not the original, being that I like the version more, I think that is mainly due to the rhythm that is closer to electronic music that I like more. That is if the lyrics are the same in both cases. So the analysis I'm going to do in a few moments of the lyrics is the same and applies to both versions.

Let's get to the point, but calmly, there's no hurry 😅. The song talks about getting on a big plane and flying away. I know the first thing you think about is that it sounds simple, or even poetic to some 😅. But you know if you think about it and analyze the lyrics a little better you'll see that it deals with several very important issues that many of us take into consideration all the time. I'm going to ask you a rhetorical question to put it into context, have you ever literally wanted to get on a plane and disappear? I'm asking you in the sense of getting out of a life that is overwhelming, or because of stress and anything that makes us feel bad, especially in situations where the solutions are beyond our control. I'm sure you have wanted it.

And that's normal because we've all found ourselves in one of these situations at some point, but even worse we'll find ourselves in the future too. Well, those are the situations that the song talks about. Although you know it's funny if we're honest, most of us can rarely afford that kind of movie-style escape. Whether in the literal or abstract sense, you understand me. That is why I like to see this from another angle. I think that this escape refers to freedom, you could say, or to get out of a bad situation as best as possible. But, be careful, not everyone who wants to escape does so because they are overwhelmed. I myself sometimes just want something different, a break perhaps from routine or something like that. The lyrics of the song also apply to those things.

You know, I think that the song itself is a plane to escape from reality, because the rhythm is quite relaxing. But especially Alok's version, the original is fine but I like this one better by far. You may find it ridiculous but many times the versions are more beautiful than the originals. As I always say without detracting from the original in any way. Continuing with the subject, another thing that makes me think is the importance of change but more on a personal level. Obviously, you don't need to go to the other side of the world to reinvent yourself, because that big plane that the singer talks about can be a small thing that makes you feel good, although we often overlook it. I think that plane can be as simple as deciding to stop worrying so much, although saying it is easier than doing it, 😂
