My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Me voy of the mexican artist Julieta Venegas. If there is one song that is truly universal in Latin America and probably known to almost everyone, it is “Me voy” by Julieta Venegas. Although in Argentina not so many Mexican artists are usually consumed, this song was a resounding success. I remember hearing it many, many times on the radio during my childhood, to the point that I would go so far as to say that it was one of the most listened to Spanish songs of that time. I recently saw a National Geographic documentary about one of my favorite artists, Charly García. What caught my attention was that the interviewer was none other than Julieta Venegas, who is also a great admirer of Charly.
