In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Also, I will include the statistics I collect daily from Rising Star to keep you informed.
After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: De música ligera: Soda Stereo.
Mírenla: Ciro y los Persas
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Mirenla of the argentine rock group Ciro y los Persas. Argentine rock is gradually disappearing with the new trend of music. If I had to stay with two rock bands that are still active are these two: Las Pastillas del Abuelo and Ciro y los Persas. The first time I heard the band was on a soccer compilation I watched as a kid, where “Luz y Astros” was playing in the background. Over time, as I got older, I began to discover more of the band's songs, and little by little I added them to my Spotify playlist. My favorite song of the band is the collaboration they have with the band Las Pastillas del Abuelo called “Ama a quien llora por ti”.
Ciro Martinez, before forming his band, was a member of one of the most famous bands in Argentina, “Los Piojos”, a band that broke up in 2009 and in 2010 he founded Ciro y los Persas, becoming the main leader. Mirenla is part of the most successful album of the band called “27” which was released in 2012.
Before giving the winner of this night's drawing. The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
