AC/DC's first six albums were untouchable at the time, but by the end of 1976, things weren't so clear. The Australians moved to London to make a big leap to Europe with the help of the record label. , Atlantic Records, did not fully believe in its possibilities. After refusing to release their previous work in the United States, the band found themselves in a difficult situation with the record giant and were now showing their manager's lack of vision.

After returning to Australia for temporary reform in late 1976, the group found themselves "heretics" in their homeland. Because they neglected their domestic market to make the international leap, the public abandoned them. With this in mind, the band spent two weeks recording Let There Be Rock at Sydney's Albert Studios. The band has already recorded.

Produced by George Young and Harry Wanda, brothers of guitarists Angus and Malcolm, the album is a declaration of intent for those who want to teach AC/DC what rock is. Intending to create a live song that would allow Angus Young to extend his guitar parts for live performances, the band set to work and completed all the rhythm parts within a week. The second dedicated himself to writing lyrics alone, and Bon Scott, the group's lead singer from 1974 to 1980, wrote the lyrics hastily. Creationism like "Let There Be Rock" was applied to rock and roll as early as 1955, especially after anthems like "Whole Lotta Rosie" that Scott found for obese groups. When Angus Young was born, it didn't take him long to complete masterpieces like "Hell's Not a Bad Place to Be" and "Bad Boy Boogie."

One of the most repeated AC/DC stories comes during the recording of their single "Whole Lotta Rosie", when Angus Young's amplifier caught fire, filling the studio with smoke. An anecdote in which a producer urged him to continue singing to take advantage of the magic of the moment unleashed one of the most brutal solos in rock history. The "smaller" songs on the album are also some of AC/DC's best songs in their career. The hypnotic boogie "Overdose" or "Dog Eat Dog" showcase the younger brothers' incredible beat-making skills and synchronicity. The album included the song "Crabsody in Blue" (a brick anthem, never a good album), which in the international edition lacked the final chord and was replaced by "Problem Child", recovered from the previous work. Perhaps this album will finally mark the beginning of the group's rise. We all know what happened next.
